Our history
Established with a focus on international humanitarian relief.
MJRSO was established in July 2014 in Maine as a U.S. charitable organization with a focus on international humanitarian relief.
The organization was co-founded by Muhidin Libah, whose lived experience of displacement, refugee life, resettlement, agriculture, and community leadership has shaped a practical understanding of both urgent human need and long-term resilience.
MJRSO is now rebuilding its public presence to communicate its mission more clearly, strengthen accountability, and create a stronger foundation for responsible future partnerships.
