Tax deductibility
Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. The deductibility of a contribution depends on the donor’s circumstances and applicable law. Donors should consult their own tax advisers.
Unless otherwise stated in a written acknowledgment, no goods or services are provided in exchange for a contribution.
Charitable control and purpose
Contributions made for a particular charitable purpose remain subject to MJRSO’s responsibility to maintain control and discretion over the use of charitable funds in furtherance of its exempt purposes.
A contribution should not be represented as tax-deductible if it is directed to a specific named individual or family rather than to MJRSO for its charitable programs.
Online giving
Online donations should be accepted only through an authorized, organization-controlled payment account. Online giving is currently being prepared. To discuss a contribution, please contact info@mjrso.org.
