A leadership story
Resilience shaped by experience.
Muhidin Libah’s journey began in southern Somalia and continued through a refugee camp in Kenya before he arrived in the United States in 2004.
In Maine, he became a community leader and nonprofit builder, helping establish organizations focused on immigrant support, agriculture, food security, and community self-determination.
That experience helps shape MJRSO’s belief that humanitarian support should protect dignity and strengthen the capacity of communities to define what comes next.
